How did you get the name Faux Paw? Faux Paw comes from the French term "faux pas" meaning "social blunder" or more literally "false step." While I am not a social blunder, in a way, my paws are a "blunder" because I have six toes instead of the usual five on each paw. That is also why my paw print looks so unusual. |

Any other issues? Utah's First Lady, Jacalyn S. Leavitt, is trying to spread the word about Internet safety. Since I consider myself a pretty cyber-savvy cat, (my nick name is Faux Paw the Techno Cat) and the health and safety of children is important to me, I am collaborating with her on a few projects. You can read all about it here. |

Do you live at the State Capitol? I spend my days here with my pal Governor Leavitt and his staff. But I go home each night and over the weekend with my Cat Nanny, Mary Lou Bozich. I really enjoy riding in my carrier and Mary Lou has two orange tabbies with whom I have become great friends. |
