How did you get the name Faux Paw?

Faux Paw comes from the French term "faux pas" meaning "social blunder" or more literally "false step."  While I am not a social blunder, in a way, my paws are a "blunder" because I  have six toes instead of the usual five on each paw.  That is also why my paw print looks so unusual.

Utah's First Lady, Jacalyn S. Leavitt, is trying to spread the word about Internet safety.  Since I consider myself a pretty cyber-savvy cat, (my nick name is Faux Paw the Techno Cat) and the health and safety of children is important to me, I am collaborating with her on a few projects.  You can read all about it here.

Do you live at the State Capitol?

I spend my days here with my pal Governor Leavitt and his staff.  But I go home each night and over the weekend with my Cat Nanny, Mary Lou Bozich.  I really enjoy riding in my carrier and Mary Lou has two orange tabbies with whom I have become great friends.
